NEW YORK — Nonferrous scrap buyers are divided over whether Hurricane Sandy will produce enough scrap metal to have a meaningful impact on flows and pricing, particularly as the market moves into a seasonal slowdown.

A number of buyers contacted by AMM this week estimated that damage caused by Hurricane Sandy would have a marked impact on scrap flows.....
