LONDON Aluminium Bahrain BSC (Alba) registered a $35-million net loss in the third quarter, in contrast to adjusted net income of $97 million in the same period last year, due to lower prices on the London Metal Exchange and higher gas prices.
Adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) totaled $35 million, down from $159 million in the corresponding period last year, on sales that fell to $457 million from $582 million.....
