NEW YORK — Federal campaign contributions from individuals working in the steel sector have leaned heavily toward the Republican Party this election cycle as the nation anticipates the congressional and presidential elections Tuesday, Federal Election Commission data compiled by the nonprofit Center for Responsive Politics show.
