BARCELONA, Spain — China’s increasing capacity for tinplate production could affect the European market, delegates at the 10th International Tinplate Conference told AMM sister publication Steel First Tuesday.

While the majority of tinplate markets have significantly downsized in the past decade on the back of poor economic conditions and slow demand, China has continued to grow. ....
