CHICAGO American Suzuki Motor Corp., the sole distributor in the continental United States of Suzuki Motor Corp. automobiles, motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and marine outboard engines, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in an attempt to restructure its business.
The company said it will wind down and discontinue new auto sales in the continental United States but continue to service current Suzuki owners.....
