Nickel premiums soften on declining demand

NEW YORK — Nickel premiums have softened further as consumer business remains sparse and sellers are looking to pare inventories before the end of the year, market participants told AMM.

"There’s just no demand for large quantities right now, and I don’t think there’s any lack of supply," one trader said. ....
