NEW YORK Copper scrap prices eased Thursday as buyers sat out of the market.
Refiners No 1. copper scrap fell to $3.265 per pound from $3.335 per pound a week earlier, while refiners No. 2 copper scrap traded at $3.07 per pound vs. $3.135 per pound Nov. 1.
Bare bright prices are expected to fall in the coming weeks, with two of the major U.S. consumers reportedly sitting out of the market. ....
