Future remains unclear for Metalico's lead unit

NEW YORK — Metalico Inc. said that it is not certain it will sell its lead fabrication division, as it remained one of the company’s best performers in the third quarter of 2012.
The lead fabrication division recorded sales of $17.7 million for the three months ending Sept. 30, down 14.4 percent from $20.7 million in the corresponding quarter of 2011. ....
