Metalico charts loss in third quarter

Pittsburgh — A non-cash charge in its platinum group metals (PGM) segment pushed Metalico Inc. into the red for its third quarter.

The Cranford, N.J-based scrap metal processor recorded a $10.7-million loss on $132.8 million in revenues, in contrast to $5.1 million in income on revenues of $168.7 million in the year-ago period. ....
