OmniSource reports major metals theft

NEW YORK More than $500,000 of copper and aluminum scrap were stolen from OmniSource Corp. Nov. 1, according to the company.
"OmniSource Corp. had a large theft of five loads of material that had been shipped by semi-trailer (and) never reached their destinations to New York, Alabama and Ohio," the company said.....
