Improved Chinese steel demand lifts ferroalloys production

SHANGHAI Chinese ferroalloys output registered a small increase in October on the back of improved demand from the steel sector.
Production averaged 90,387 tonnes per day in October, up 1.2 percent from 89,300 tonnes in September, putting the monthly total at around 2.8 million tonnes, an 11.5-percent increase from a year earlier, according to the countrys National Bureau of....
