China aluminum, copper output remains high

SHANGHAI — China’s production of aluminum and copper remained high in October, according to data from the country’s National Bureau of Statistics.

Aluminum output of 1.72 million tonnes was down marginally from the previous month but well above production in October 2011. Production averaged 55,484 tonnes per day....
