Copper buyers urged to take action against ETFs

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — More copper consumers must take action in order to stop the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) from approving the physically backed exchange-traded funds (ETFs) proposed by JPMorgan Chase & Co. and BlackRock Inc., according to Vandenberg & Feliu LLP attorney Robert Bernstein.

"Copper consumers, now is the time to contact your senator and your representative in Congress to tell them to urge the SEC not to approve rules allowing the (New York Stock Exchange) to list and trade copper ETFs," Bernstein said Wednesday at the American Copper Council’s fall meeting in Fort Lauderdale.....
