NEW YORK — Nonferrous scrap metal exports fell in September as volume leader aluminum dipped 5.6 percent month on month.

Exports of all nonferrous metals tracked by AMM totaled 296,282 short tons in September, down 4.8 percent from 311,224 tons in August and 9.7 percent below the 328,212 tons shipped abroad in September 2011, according to U.S.....
