Gerdau Long Steel restarts NJ mill

CHICAGO — Gerdau Long Steel North America has resumed rolling and melting operations at its Sayreville, N.J., steel mill, a company spokeswoman told AMM Friday.

"We began shipping last week and started rolling on Tuesday (Nov. 13). We started up the melt shop on Wednesday (Nov. 14)," the spokeswoman said....
