NEW YORK Alcoa Inc. has decided to curtail its Auburn, Ind., plant next year due to weak market conditions, a company spokeswoman told AMM.
"Alcoa will lay off employees at its Auburn, Ind., plant and curtail the facility by the end of March," the spokeswoman said in an e-mailed statement Wednesday. "This was a difficult decision made necessary....
