LOS ANGELES West Coast carbon steel plate prices are moving up, but not across the board and by nowhere near the amount targeted by mills.
In a market that continues to feel strain under the weight of high inventories at the distributor level, and in the wake of higher imports in October, buyers said its nevertheless likely that prices will rise after Jan. 1, at least for the short term. ....
