US tin premiums stable

NEW YORK — The spot tin market has been seasonally slow and is unlikely to pick up until the beginning of January, traders and tin buyers told AMM Monday.

"Everything is quiet at the moment," one trader said. "It’s that time of year."

Delivered tin premiums for spot material have failed to budge from a $600- to $750-per-tonne range, as both sellers and buyers reported minimal activity over the past two weeks.....
