NEW YORK Domestic stainless consumption rose significantly year on year in September, although imported material captured a greater share of the domestic market.
Consumption across all types of stainless rose 21.1 percent to 192,406 tons, while imports rose 29 percent to 63,865 tons, according to the latest figures from the Specialty Steel Industry of....
