NEW YORK Domestic stainless steel mills have raised most surcharges for January on the back of higher raw material prices.
West Chester, Ohio-based AK Steel Corp. has set its surcharges at 77.47 cents per pound for Type 304 material, up 6 percent from 73.1 cents this month; 51.23 cents per pound for Type 201, up 3.8 percent from 49.37 cents; and $1.0941 per pound....
