MUMBAI, India The Indian government has raised its "safeguard duty" on Type 304 hot-rolled stainless steel flat product imports from China to 20 percent from 5 percent previously.
"The safeguard duty imposed under this notification shall be effective for a period of 200 days (unless revoked, superseded or amended earlier) from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette,"....
