PITTSBURGH California recycler Alco Iron & Metal Co. has cleared an environmental hurdle that brings it closer to landing approval for a new feeder yard it is looking to open in San Jose.
The recycler, which needs a conditional-use permit for the site, has received a mitigated negative declaration after the citys director of planning, building and code enforcement determined that the project will have no significant impact on the environment.....
