German auto parts supplier picks Ky. for new operation

CHICAGO — Kemmerich USA LP plans to invest $12.2 million to establish a manufacturing facility and U.S. headquarters in Murray, Ky.

The project will create 120 full-time jobs, Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear said.

Kemmerich, a producer of stamped and drawn automotive parts established in Germany 115 years ago, has supplied the auto industry for 50-plus years. It specializes in designing, tooling and manufacturing punching, drawing and bending metal parts, and....
