NEW YORK Ten people were arrested Feb. 13 at a United Mine Workers of America (UMWA) protest outside Peabody Energy Inc.s headquarters in St. Louis, the second such protest in two weeks.
Some 1,000 UMWA members protested pension and health-care benefits for 20,000 retired miners and their dependents, who claim they were employed by Peabody Energy rather than bankrupt coal miner Patriot Coal. The previous protest....
