Fire hits ArcelorMittal pipe and tube plant

NEW YORK A worker died from injuries sustained in a fire at an ArcelorMittal SA steel tube and pipe plant in Kazakhstan over the weekend. Two other workers hospitalized with burns were said to be in critical condition.
A company spokesman had no other details about the incident and could not comment on whether production at the plant in Aktau had been affected, but a local report said the fire occurred in an electrical transformer substation.....
