Atlas boosts HSS $50 per ton; others follow

NEW YORK Atlas Tube Inc. has raised its prices for hollow structural sections (HSS) by a minimum of $50 per ton effective with new orders.
The subsidiary of Chicago-based JMC Steel Group Inc. said in a March 4 letter to customers that the increase applies to all HSS shapessquares and equivalent rectanglesthrough 12 inches square, as well as all HSS rounds up to 20 inches in outside diameter.....
