Metalformers expect stable activity ahead: PMA survey

NEW YORK Members of the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) have seen little change in shipments this month compared with February and largely expect the newfound stability to persist in the months ahead, according to a PMA survey.
"PMAs manufacturing member companies reported fairly strong orders and shipments in the first quarter of 2013 vs. the last quarter of 2012," PMA president William E. Gaskin said in a statement. "However, compared to the first quarter of 2012 they are operating at similar levels."....
