Constellium cuts ribbon at low-density aluminum alloys casthouse

CHICAGO Constellium has officially opened its 52-million ($66.4-million) low-density alloys casthouse in Issoire, France. The downstream aluminum producer said the new facility will produce the companys Airware-brand alloys on an industrial scale.
"We believe Airware is a true game-changer that contributes to delivering a more-efficient, cost-effective and greener industry," Christophe Villemin, president of Constelliums global aerospace activities, said in a statement.....
