Japanese steel exports log monthly fall in Feb. but rise year on year

TOKYO Japanese steel exports fell in February from the previous month but were sharply higher than a year earlier as producers reaped the benefits of a weakening Japanese currency.
Steel exports totaled 3.63 million tonnes, down 0.7 percent from January but up 12.6 percent from February last year, according to the latest Japan Iron and Steel Federation data.....
