BHP’s copper, aluminum output up in qtr.

SINAGPORE BHP Billiton Plcs quarterly copper and aluminum production increased from the first three months of last year, with output at the companys Escondida copper mine in Chile rising dramatically.
The London-based miners copper production rose 9 percent year on year to 307,100 tonnes for the quarter ended March 31, pushing the nine-month tally up 12 percent year on year to 876,200 tonnes. ....
