Lake Erie plant workers reject USS labor offer

NEW YORK United Steelworkers union members at U.S. Steel Corp.s Lake Erie plant have rejected the companys proposed contract, USW Local 8782 said on its website.
The proposal was rejected by 70 percent of voting members at the Nanticoke, Ontario, facility, with a participation rate of 92 percent, the union said.....
