Ohio tops metal theft claims list: NICB

PITTSBURGH The state of Ohio continues to top the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) list of metal theft claims, while copper remains by far the material most often reported stolen.
The annual report indicates that copper accounted for 32,568, or 96.4 percent, of 33,775 insurance claims for the theft of copper, bronze, brass or aluminum over a two year period. The report looked at thefts between Jan. 1,....
