Weakening yen ‘reshaping' Asian steel sector

SINGAPORE The continued weakening of the Japanese currency is expected to reshape the competitive landscape of the Asian steel sector, according to analysts at Credit Suisse Group AG.
This could potentially make Japan the most competitive Asian producer, particularly in the Asian export market and the high-end flat steel segment, the banks analysts said in a report May 9. ....
