Glencore Xstrata’s Quebec mine venture kicks off output

LONDON Glencore Xstrata Plc has started zinc and copper production at the Bracemac-McLeod Mine in Quebec, in which it holds a 65-percent stake.
Processing started May 15 at the anticipated rate of 3,000 tonnes per day, Donner Metals Ltd., the 35-percent joint-venture partner, told investors. At capacity, the mine is expected to produce 80,000 tonnes of zinc....
