Gerdau to build rebar fabrication site in Tenn.

NEW YORK Gerdau Long Steel North America will build a 120,000-ton-per-year rebar fabrication facility in Knox County, Tenn., a company spokeswoman told AMM May 21.
The facility will source most of its rebar from Gerdaus mill in Knoxville, Tenn., some 12 miles away, and will apply finishing services for original equipment manufacturers.....
