Ferrochrome outlook mixed amid demand uncertainty

NEW YORK — Ferrochrome prices remained steady this past week, but with an uncertain demand outlook traders are divided on whether the market is poised for price increases or further drops.

High-carbon ferrochrome continued to trade in a range of 99 cents to $1.02 per pound, while 0.10-percent-carbon ferrochrome was steady in a range of $1.96 to $2.02 per pound.....
