Mwana Africa’s BNC ramping up output

WINDHOEK, Namibia Bindura Nickel Corp. (BNC), part of Mwana Africa Plc, is ramping up production at its Trojan Mine and refinery in Zimbabwe to meet a 7,000-tonne-per-year nickel concentrate offtake contract with Glencore Xstrata Plc.
BNC made its first shipment of nickel concentrates to Baar, Switzerland-based Glencore Xstrata April 15 via the Port of Durban in South Africa.
The offtake would be met in the second year of operation, a source at Mwana Africa told AMM sister publication Metal Bulletin.....
