U.S. Steel appoints several new executives

NEW YORK U.S. Steel Corp. has made a number of executive management appointments effective July 1, the company said June 10.
Michael S. Williams, currently senior vice president of North American flat-rolled operations, has been named senior vice president of strategic planning and business development. He will succeed David H. Lohr, who is retiring later this year.....
All the executives, unless otherwise indicated, will report directly to newly appointed president Mario Longhi, who also is chief operating officer of the Pittsburgh-based steelmaker.
