Japan manufacturers’ steel orders up

TOKYO Japanese steel demand is showing more signs of heading for recovery, with manufacturing sector orders rising in April.
While overall orders fell 3 percent from the previous month to 5.97 million tonnes, those from the manufacturing sector rose 1.7 percent to 1.59 million tonnes, according to the Japan Iron and Steel Federation.....
