Caterpillar workers OK pact at mining equipment plant

CHICAGO Workers at a Caterpillar Inc. plant in South Milwaukee, Wis., have ratified a six-year collective bargaining agreement, a United Steelworkers union Local 1343 spokesman told AMM.
The new contract will go into effect June 17, the spokesman said. "Many of the terms and conditions will go into effect on this date, while others will be phased....
