Pennsylvania governor ousts scrap veteran from state role

PITTSBURGH Scrap industry veteran Richard J. Allan has resigned as secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) at the request of Gov. Tom Corbett.
No reason was given by the governors office and Allen couldnt be reached for comment, but it is believed that complaints from local environmentalists might have been a contributing factor.....
