Nissan transfers production of Rogue from Japan to US

CHICAGO – Nissan Motor Co. is shifting production of its Rogue crossover utility vehicle from Kyushu, Japan, to Smyrna, Tenn., as part of a broader strategy to localize manufacturing activities.

By 2015, Nissan aims to produce 85 percent of the products it sells in the United States in North America (amm.com, Oct. 22).....
