Recycler sues transportation firms over missing copper

PITTSBURGH — An Illinois recycler is suing three transportation companies after loads of copper scrap worth more than $450,000 failed to arrive at a customer in New York.

Elgin-based Industrial Metals Recycling Corp. has filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Illinois against Homer Glen, Ill.-based GI Carriers Inc., Chicago-based Partage LLC and Dallas-based Worldwide Express Inc.....
