Steel import licenses buck three-month trend

NEW YORK U.S. steel imports appeared to be on course to fall 8.5 percent in June, led by sharp declines in shipments from Turkey, Russia and Brazil, after logging three consecutive monthly gains.
Steel import license applications totaled nearly 2.33 million tonnes last month, down from Mays preliminary figure of 2.54 million tonnes, according to data from the U.S. Commerce Departments Import Administration.....
