US brass mill product imports decline, exports flat

NEW YORK U.S. imports of brass mill products fell in May compared with the same month last year, while exports were virtually flat, according to the latest statistics from the Copper and Brass Fabricators Council.
Imports totaled nearly 44.67 million pounds in May, down 3.9 percent from more than 46.49 million pounds a year earlier, putting the year-to-date total at 200.65 million pounds, down 4.4 percent from 209.97 million pounds in the....
