Automotive fastener maker plans Indiana plant expansion

CHICAGO — Sunright America Inc., a Japanese manufacturer of automotive nuts, bolts and specialty fasteners, broke ground July 11 on an expansion project at its Columbus, Ind., manufacturing complex.

The company, a subsidiary of Sugiura Seisakusho Co. Ltd., will invest $34.7 million to build and equip two additional facilities on its 33-acre campus. The 176,000-square-foot and 160,000-square-foot buildings will house additional lines for producing automotive nuts and bolts.....
