Rio Tinto’s aluminum output up 7% in 2d qtr.

LONDON Rio Tinto Plcs second-quarter aluminum output was up 7 percent year on year following resolution of a lockout at its Alma operation and a power outage at Shawinigan, both in Quebec.
"Production at Alma reached full capacity in the first quarter of 2013," the miner said July 16.
Rio Tinto produced 901,000 tonnes of aluminum in the second quarter, including output from its Pacific Aluminium division, Rio Tinto Alcan Inc. and two other smelters.....
