Mexico to spend $311B on infrastructure through 2018

MEXICO CITY — The Mexican government expects to invest about $311 billion in public and private infrastructure projects over the next six years, president Enrique Peña Nieto said July 15 at the launch of the 2013-18 National Infrastructure Program.

Of this, $102 billion will be invested in transportation and communications infrastructure. The program also includes investments in Mexico’s energy and oil industry and water companies, Peña Nieto said.....
