Sadoff worker injured in fall into shear box

NEW YORK — An equipment mechanic at Sadoff Iron & Metal Co. in Fond du Lac, Wis., was seriously injured when he fell into a shear box, the company said.

"He was on our second-shift maintenance team working on a 1025 shear," Sadoff chief executive officer Mark Lasky told AMM. "He was in an area that was restricted and unguarded.....
