ATI, NAS cut most stainless steel surcharges

NEW YORK ATI Allegheny Ludlum Corp. and North American Stainless Inc. (NAS) have lowered their monthly surcharges on most stainless steel grades.
Ludlum, a division of Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Technologies Inc., set its August surcharges at 63.55 cents per pound for Type 304 material, down 4.3 percent from 66.41 cents in this month; 43.78....
